Knit These Bunnies Your Way 🐰

Hello, Reader! It’s bunny season here on the coastal trails, and one project I keep coming back to is my beloved Bunny from a Square.

I often get asked, “Can we knit a bunny from a square in other stitch patterns?” Yes, absolutely!

The beauty of this project is that it begins with a simple square, which means you can use any easy knit and purl stitch pattern you like.

With just a bit of stitching and shaping, your square transforms into a soft little rabbit. My step-by-step video walks you through the entire process so you can follow along with confidence. Even after making many of these, I still love the moment when the bunny takes shape.

This would be a really clever use for test swatches :)

If you enjoy this project, you might also like my Bunny Cable stitch pattern.

It creates a sweet raised bunny motif and is a fun next step if you’d like to explore more advanced textured knitting designs.

Love it! Lot of knit skills in one sweet bunny

For a quick and playful project, my Creme Egg Covers are always a favorite.

They require no knitting at all and are perfect for using up small bits of yarn while creating something fun to share.

This is such a cute idea! Can’t wait to try this one! You could definitely play with yarn colors with your leftover yarn from projects! Awesome idea!

My Easter Bunny Egg Cozies are a fun, quick knit that looks great in baskets. Slip these festive little caps onto your eggs to turn them into Springtime Bunnies!

I hope these projects inspire you to get creative with your bunny knitting this season.

Happy knitting, and I’ll see you down the bunny trails,
